After watching all of the women put themselves outside of the comfort zone for SOAR, I decided to ask the same of myself. My goal is to post several photos a week that practice the strategies and lessons shared by Me Ra and the wonderful people I have already “met” on the SOAR forum.

This weeks goal for myself focused on getting a good snow shot amidst the crazy blizzard we are experiencing. This is especially a challenge for me as I am relying on my point and shoot for the moment since the body of Nikon d90 developed a crack and is not usable in the outside elements.

Point & Shoot Canon s5is ISO 80, f/5.6 1/1600sec. Photo was cropped and this reduced the photo quality making it appear noisy. Desaturated the colors to help with blown out snow highlights and to make the noise seem more “intentional”
